Large diameter bellows are generally austenitic stainless steel, corrosion resistant alloy, copper, industrial pure titanium and other high cost high-quality materials. The size specifications are generally DN50-4800mm. Its core problem is how to apply a certain amount of axial force evenly in a circle. For small diameter bellows pressing, we usually use a conventional press to solve it. However, for the suppression of large diameter bellows, such as the diameter of 8 meters or even wider diameter, conventional press due to the space design and the whole frame problem is completely unable to do!
The pressing equipment designed by Canete adopts 8 doubleacting high tonnage hydraulic jacks with maximum bearing capacity of 160T, and the working stroke can reach the pressing length of 1000mm.
The hydraulic jack is arranged along the circumference wall, which is not restricted by the space design and the frame of the whole machine. The stress and return of the hydraulic jack are precisely controlled to replace the conventional press for pressing the largediameter bellows. The synchronous precision of each point can reach 0.5mm.
